Bush-Cheney’s Psychosis Diagnosis
Prez George W. Bush and Veep Dick B. Cheney clearly need to be institutionalized. I’m not a psychiatrist, nor do I play one on TV, but it doesn’t take doc smarts to make that diagnosis. The behavioral symptoms of the two-headed monster obviously indicate clinical psychosis. As summarily defined by our friends Merriam and Webster: PSYCHOSIS - “Fundamental derangement of the mind (as in schizophrenia) characterized by defective or lost contact with reality especially as evidenced by delusions, hallucinations, and disorganized speech and behavior.”
Well, there you have it. No need for a second opinion. Even I am able to call this one, sans medical credentials or framed diplomas. Forget impeachment, that’s probably a pipe dream anyway. The Democrats won’t do anything, haven’t stepped up to the plate to even bunt, much less hit a home run, and no doubt have no intention of doing so, despite their Bush-bashing rhetoric. They have disappointed, big time. Even a base hit would have been appreciated. A little less talk and a lot more action, maybe?
Instead, the war of words, Dems vs. Commander-in-Chief and cronies, has proven to be about as successful as BushCo’s own wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. So because of my impotent and spineless fellow party members, the Mad Cowboy-Hatter with dick in tow still has free reign, sucking us all deeper into the cesspool of warmongering insanity. Next stop before going down the drain, Iran.
Rattle the sabers and beat the drums! Watch out, Mahmoud, here we come. Why? Um, well, because … that’s a stupid question. Madmen need no reason. They make shit up, and all subordinate lemmings of patriotic citizenry are expected to, and usually do, follow blindly.
Needless, pointless, unwarranted hundreds of billions of dollars spent (tallying continues) and hundreds of thousands of dead folks sacrificed for the worthy cause that is Iraq isn’t enough to appease these psychos. The game hasn’t gone as well as planned, and being sore losers, their dementia takes control and they decide that now might be a fine time to start a new game. Never mind that we’re already running short on game pieces.
Quiz time. Why should Iran be our next wargames-marathon opponent? Multiple choice again, kind of like in Iraq: WMDs, Hussein-Bin Laden collusion … nope and nope. Regime change, well, that happened, but now it’s even worse, if that’s possible. Iraqi Freedom? Please, give me a break. Spreading democracy? That certainly has not worked out so well, despite all of the purple fingers. Nothing really stuck there, no correct answer to the question “why”, in spite of multiple choices. Maybe they’ll have better luck with Iran. So here are your options for this round of play. Cast your vote for the best reason to shock and awe yet another oil-pumping country.
A - Last week’s Bush-babble: “If you’re interested in avoiding World War III … you ought to be interested in preventing Iran from having the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”
(Knowledge is a threat? We not only know how to make, we do make. If anyone could start WWIII it would be, well, never mind … don’t want to give the insane any crazy ideas. It’s probably too late, anyway.)
B - Sunday’s Cheney-chatter: warning of “the Iranian regime’s efforts to destabilize the Middle East and to gain hegemonic power … we cannot stand by as a terror-supporting state fulfills its most aggressive ambitions.”
(I had to look up hegemonic. Apparently being delusional does not preclude one from possessing a highly-developed vocabulary.)
C - Tuesday’s Bush-blather: insisted on the need “to defend Europe against the emerging Iranian threat.”
(What? Who knew Iran is a major threat to Europe? Is Ahmadinejad mad at anyone in Europe? As far as I know, not really so much. Even if he was, what would he do … nuke’em with that missile that he doesn’t have? Come on, definite lunacy behind this one. Only crazy people would consider something like that.)
Is it unconstitutional to commit the country’s leaders to an accredited mental health facility for treatment against their will? Now there’s an amendment I would fully support, because these two psychos could apparently use some professional help. A lobotomy would be an excellent start. I’m sure the rest of the world would thank us.

If only more people read foreign newspapers and saw how the U. S. is viewed by other countries, realized the moral authority we have lost in the eyes of the world, recognized how the brutish and buffoonish foreign policies of this administration have cultivated hatred toward us, then maybe….
But unfortunately we see a mostly impotent Democratic majority in Congress sitting idly on the sidelines, at most offering occasional token protests. Time for a third party? Yeah, right … the Neo-Theocrats are mulling over that right now. Yippy!
Big money corporation lobbyists in collusion with the MSM will guarantee that the status quo applecart is not overturned in 2008, that any politician representing true change will be marginalized. Even though the majority of Americans stand opposed to the Neanderthal ideology of this administration and its self-righteous supporters, the system is rigged so that, in the next election, we will be presented with the option of staying home or attempting to choose the lesser evil.
And our march towards self-destruction through unrestrained greed and arrogance continues….

I’m guessing that when the leader of iran says he will blow israel off the map and god willing the united states will cease to exist you are happy about that.
As someone that has travelled the world during the clinton era, please don’t fantasize that we weren’t hated. Let me give you a few facts for you to consider…
America, we have machines built into our sinks to get rid of unwanted food. Tell that to some father that has already watched half his family die from starvation. And then he watches CNN international talk about the growing problem in the US about pet obesity. Or tell that worker in some country not named US that works HARD for a couple bucks a day why americans spend $5 for a cup of coffee at the local starbucks. Hey, I know, explain to that family in china that considers a bicycle their transportation why americans have multiple vehicles per family because we can. It’s out right. Have you seen the way democrat politicians drag out the poor onto tee vee, yeah, the world looks at them thinking, how in the hell do poor people have color tee vee, microwaves, cars, X-boxes and enough food to be fat. Of course the world hates us because of bush, keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. People dream about coming here, for the opportunity to “be all that you can,” for all the freedoms we enjoy. Imagine you being a cuban in cuba, how would your post go over, like a bullet to your head.
When the time comes the rest of the world doesn’t risk their lives to get into the country and citizens like you relinquish their citizenship to move elsewhere, your words about the US might have some validity, until then keep enjoying your rights as a citizen of this great country.

I have friends that travel outside of America. They told me that in the past, they were always greeted in a friendly way. Now there’s a lot of dirty looks and people have said very negative things to their faces about America.
November 4th, 2007 at 7:25 am
Mark Karr,
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad doesn’t have any power in Iran. The The Mullahs run Iran. So his rhetoric doesn’t mean a damn thing! Yes, Bush and his corrupt Klan have done major damage to the image of America. We are now know as a country that:
Invades and occupies another country based on false information.
A country that takes prisoners to other countries so that they can be tortured.
A country that doesn’t respect the will of the people, the law of the land or the constitution.
November 4th, 2007 at 2:56 pm
And … A country that gave him a second term to wreak his havoc around the world and here at home. No wonder they hate us.
Remember in his first disastrous 4-years, you’d hear from the global community that what they hated was Bush and his “administration”, nothing against the American people, per se. Now we’re all perceived as part of the problem.
November 4th, 2007 at 3:38 pm
Rainlillie, I’m glad you have friends but if you don’t have real life experiences to talk about please don’t try and to insinuate I am incorrect by the words of your friends.
Doug, did you hearing from the global community about their hatred come from personal experience abroad?
November 4th, 2007 at 3:41 pm
rainlillie- I googled you. What a piece of work you are. Your hatred shows some deep seated psychological problems. It’s one thing to disagree with others but you cross that line. You wishes for bad to come to elizibeth (the young blond on the view) is disgusting.
November 4th, 2007 at 7:19 pm
Please post where I said I’d like harm to come to anyone. You sound just like someone. who posts under the name of Brandon. See this isn’t the faux news channel you have to back your claims up with proof. I despise what this corrupt administration has done to this country. I’m disgusted that you would come on this forum and lie , by saying I’d like harm to come to EH from that view. Please show proof of this.
November 4th, 2007 at 7:22 pm
Doug Robertson,
I totally agree! The indisputable fact is, this administration has forever tarnished the image of this country.
November 5th, 2007 at 10:59 pm
Who is Brandon, someone else that googled you and then threw it back in your face? Or are you pulling a Hillary and pretending that all the big mean men are picking on you by using your own words against you? Either way, when you decided to post on the internet you should have been aware that your words would come back sooner or later.
As far as not faux news, where’s your “proof” this administration is corrupt? If you weren’t so filled with hate you would realize as much as you might not agree with the decisions Bush has made, it doesn’t qualify as law breaking.
I would offer to debate whatever you feel proves your point but your google history proves that you are unable to debate and would rather paint all those that don’t agree with you as rethugs/republikkkans. Kudos.

Dude, you just gave yourself away. By the way I’ve used the term Bushbot and Bushsheep, but I’ve never used Rethugs/republikkkans.

It’s funny how the people that complain the loudest about people using derogatory language use it themselves. How many liberals/democrats on this blog use rethug or republikkkan for groups of people?”

Leaking the name of a CIA agent.
Cheery picking info to get us into this war.
illegal spying and wiretapping.
Changing data on global warming reports.
All shows how corrupt this administration is.

Peter,
What are you talking about? I don’t even know who Don suber is, and I have never visited his blog. I don’t hide my dislike for the bush administration or those who continue to support them. Therefore why would I say I have never used those words, in fact I like the terms, but the first time I’ve seen them they were posted on WTV site.
You can read my blog from beginning to end and you will not find those terms on it. You seem to have a very sick unhealthy fixation with me…I’m not sure why…But it’s rather disturbing.
November 24th, 2007 at 4:34 pm
I goggled Don Suber’s name and found the post. Someone posted the following using my name.
“# Rainlillie Says:
November 6th, 2007 at 1:56 pm
“Only rethugs and republiKKKans would take joy at killing people.
No wonder you sick people support bush.”
Nice try, but whenever I post on another blog I always include the link back to my blog. It’s really kind of sad that some will go to those type of measures to try and prove a point. The internet can be fun and informative it’s pretty sad that there’s also a dark side.
November 24th, 2007 at 4:39 pm
What he meant to say … was Don Surber. I know, because I finally tracked down the blog and the article he mentioned, and there actually was a comment by a rainlillie that used those words. Maybe another rainlillie, I don’t know, and I really don’t care … I kinda like those words, too. I may even use them at some point. However, it would be a bit disconcerting if I was held accountable for every comment any other Doug may have ever left … too bad I don’t have the name trademarked.
November 24th, 2007 at 5:05 pm
I thought I was the only rainlillie, until my sister told me there was another blog with the name “rain lillie” on it. I also like the terms, but they’re not my terms and I would admit if they were. Believe me it’s no secret how much I detest the folks currently in the White House.

I didn’t think it was like you to deny it had you said it. On the other hand, you could have proudly taken credit for it, if you weren’t so honest. I woulda.
